Bookings for holiday homes/pitches and requests for specific homes/pitches are subject to availability at the time the deposit is received. We reserve the right to change homes/pitches if necessary for operational reasons. No responsibility can be taken for misunderstandings that arise from telephone/verbal bookings. Please check your booking confirmations carefully and advise us of any discrepancy as soon as possible.
All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Park trades on its reputation as a quiet, close-to nature family park, therefore groups of any kind are only permitted at the sole discretion of the park management. Parking for one vehicle only IS included in tariff.
The balance of the hire charge for the Holiday Home/Pitch is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival.
Please check-in at reception on arrival at the Park. This must be done before the pitch or holiday home can be occupied. Holiday homes are available from 4pm (subject to unavoidable delay) on the booked arrival date and must be vacated by 10am on the booked date of departure. Keys will be issued after 10pm only by prior arrangement. Touring pitches – strictly no arrivals after 10pm.
Notification of delayed arrival is required to hold the unit. Holiday homes not taken up within 24 hours of the booked date will be offered for re-let.
Pets on the Park
Dogs are welcome in all touring areas. Dogs are welcome in some holiday homes and pods but must be kept off furniture and beds. Please ensure you have included your pet on your booking. Dogs arriving without prior notice will be charged at an additional £50.00 cleaning charge. Dogs must not be left unattended in holiday homes or motor vehicles at any time or for any reason and they must be kept under control at all times. In the event of injury or damage caused by the pet, the owner is responsible. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times whilst in the Park. Doggy bins are provided throughout the Park. In the interests of hygiene, please clear any deposits using these bins.
All guests are expected to behave in a reasonable way and not do, or allow to be done, anything that in the opinion of the management is detrimental to the quiet, safe, enjoyment of others staying on the park. Excessive noise and bad language will not be tolerated. The playing of music of any kind is not allowed between the hours of 11pm and 8am. The Park operates a speed limit of 5mph. All vehicles must be insured, taxed and hold a valid MoT certificate. No ball games to be played in the camping areas or between caravans. To avoid being asked to re-pitch, the safe distance between tourers is to be observed at all times. Waste water should not be allowed to run onto the ground. For safety reasons, no bonfires or open fires allowed. Barbecues are welcome with the use of appropriate equipment. Adults are responsible for the actions of their children while at the Park and in particular are asked to ensure their children using sporting equipment such as bicycles and skateboards do so with due consideration for others and their own safety. Refuse and recycling bins are placed throughout the park. Appropriate use will help keep the park tidy, hygienic and help our Green Policy.
A no-smoking policy operates throughout public buildings and holiday homes. All rules, conditions, site regulations etc. displayed by the management must be observed. The management reserve the right to summarily remove those who breach the conditions of the Park without refund.
Tenants are responsible for any accidental or deliberate damage or breakages during their occupancy, and should report any instances to a member of staff. No responsibility is assumed by the Park for any loss or damage to vehicles, touring caravans or motor homes. Please be advised that should you choose to stay on the Park, the Company, its servants, employees or agents shall not be held liable for any accident, injury or loss to any person or property arising, unless due to a negligent act on behalf of the Company.
Due to limited space and safety reasons, extra cars and gazebos are not permitted in the camping areas. These rules are intended to ensure all our visitors enjoy their holiday at Durdle Door and wish to return again.
We regret that money cannot be refunded due to bad weather.
Any complaint you have with any aspect of your holiday should be notified to us as soon as possible whilst you are on holiday so that we can resolve the issue, preferably while you are still staying with us. We may not be able to consider any request for refund/compensation if we have not been made aware of your complaint at the time. Please contact reception. We always do our best to make sure your stay is safe and enjoyable.
The Park commissions photography each year. Should you not wish to appear in the promotional material please make this known to the photographer at the time.
Regrettably no refunds will be issued should your stay be curtailed. You are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance. Holiday insurance is not expensive and is readily available from your regular insurance provider.
If you have to cancel your holiday please tell us as soon as possible together with the reasons. The following terms apply:
Cancellation more than 12 weeks before arrival: Full refund less non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation within 12 weeks of arrival or non-arrival: A full refund, less non-refundable deposit will be given in the following circumstances only:
- Accident or illness of any member of the party included on the booking form – please provide a doctor’s note/certificate.
- Death or disablement of any member of the party or close relative – please provide doctors letter/certificate.
- Jury or Witness Service – please provide call up notification.
- Redundancy – please provide employer’s notice. To qualify for a refund supporting documentation must be provided before the booking start date. Cancellations within 12 weeks of arrival without supporting evidence will be charged at the full amount payable.
