Come on In, the Water’s Lovely!

The Environment Agency has been testing bathing water quality for a number of years, and between May and September each year, the water is checked for levels of harmful bacteria and pollutants, making sure it is safe and clean for bathers to use by giving it a classification of either poor, sufficient, good or excellent. We are delighted to have received the ‘Excellent’ rating for bathing water quality at all three of our beaches – Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door West (main beach) & Durdle Door East (Man O’War)!

As a coastal destination, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to our beaches each year, the quality of our bathing water is vitally important to us. Click on the below links to find out more about water quality and how you can help to keep our bathing water safe and clean.
