The Heritage Centre is the best place to start any visit to Lulworth. Whether you need the tide times or a geological map, drop in for helpful visitor information and guides to the local area. The Heritage Centre is free of charge and opens from 10am daily (except Christmas Day). Look at the displays in the Heritage Centre which tell the story of Lulworth from 150 million years ago, as the first rocks formed, to the landscape and village you see today. Animations show how the coast formed and two short films explain this World Heritage Site and how it looks in stormy weather.
Education groups can make use of the Heritage Centre or book a field session with the Lulworth Education Service rangers based in the building.
Jurassic Jaws exhibition (entry fee applies), shop and toilets also found here.
