Beach Access Access to all the beaches is via the Southwest Coast Path, from which steep steps lead to most of the beaches. These paths, leading from the Coast Path are permissive Rights of Way, which have been granted, managed and maintained by the Lulworth Estate for over 100 years. Please take great care when accessing the beaches as the paths and steps are steep and in late Winter early Spring they may have been subjected to severe storms, rendering them less safe than after repairs have taken place. Please heed notices closing these paths as they will have been closed for good reason and we endeavour to reinstate them as quickly as possible. Please remember, the cliffs are dangerous and can be unstable in certain conditions. DO NOT CLIMB THE CLIFFS OR SIT IMMEDIATELY UNDERNEATH THEM. Pay & Display Car Parks are provided at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The Durdle Door Car Park is open between 1st March and 31st October - it is closed during the Winter.
